About us
Once upon a time, at a shindig in Silver Lake, two slightly inebriated ladies came together to confess their secrets. Bored by their past lives of production design and painting, they loudly whispered at each other into the night, discovering they shared an intense love of horses, the need to see Judy Greer as a leading lady, and above all – an overwhelming desire to be storytellers. Jenny described her flare for the dark and twisted (“Is there a murder? There should always be a murder.”) Hannah detailed her proclivity for fantastical love stories (“But is there a hunk and can he do magic?”) And so, a writing duo was born.
Hannah & Jenny were staff writers on Steve Levitan’s Hulu series REBOOT and are currently developing a new project with Levitan and 20th TV based on the upcoming book, How To Solve Your Own Murder. They also have their original pilot UNLADYLIKE set up with Miramax TV and have existing/previous development with Disney, Netflix Animation, Imagine Entertainment and LBI Productions. Hannah & Jenny are proud alumni of The Black List x Women In Film Episodic Lab and have been Finalists in numerous contests, including Slamdance’s 2021 Screenplay Competition and Austin Film Festival’s 2020 Comedy Teleplay Program, among many others. Their offbeat short film, FOR THE LOVE OF BARB, was chosen as a Finalist for Filmapalooza and won a Jury Award at BendFilm Fest.
They’ve also managed to meet Judy Greer. So, now their lives are complete.
